About these terms
These terms apply when you use homeopathicfamilypractice.com, buy from our online store, or register for one of our courses or trainings. By placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them before you buy.

Information on this website
The articles, descriptions and other content on this website are for general education. They are not a diagnosis, and they are not a substitute for a personal consultation. Our services and products are complementary and are meant to work alongside the care you receive from your other health care providers. Nothing on this website is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Please speak with your practitioner before starting a new product, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a health condition.
Prices and taxes
All prices are in Canadian dollars. Ontario HST (13%) is added at checkout where it applies. Delivery charges, taxes and your full total are shown at checkout before you pay. We work hard to keep prices and descriptions accurate. If we find an error in the price of something you ordered, we will contact you before your order ships, and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Placing an order
Before you pay, the checkout shows your items, delivery method, taxes and total, so you can review everything and correct any errors. Your order is confirmed when you click Place Order and your payment is approved. We then email you an order confirmation and a copy of your order details for your records.
Payment
We accept credit and debit cards and Google Pay, processed securely by Square. Your card details are entered directly into Square's secure payment form. They never pass through our website, and we never see or store your card number.
Delivery and pickup
- Delivery within the Greater Toronto Area: $30 (plus HST). Orders are usually delivered within 1 to 2 business days of payment.
- Free pickup at our clinic: 600 Sherbourne Street, Unit 604, Toronto. We will email you when your order is ready. Orders are held for 7 days. Orders not picked up within 7 days are cancelled and refunded to your original payment card.
- Delivery outside the Greater Toronto Area is not offered online yet. Please contact us and we will do our best to help.
All sales are final
All product sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges, so please review your order carefully before you pay. The only exceptions are listed here, along with the rights the law gives you that cannot be waived. Courses and trainings have their own cancellation terms, in the next section.
- Damaged, defective or incorrect items: please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, with a photo. We will replace the item or refund you in full.
- Late delivery: if your delivery is more than 30 days late, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Refunds for these exceptions are made to your original payment card. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
Courses and trainings
- Dates, times and location are listed on each course page. Your registration holds your place.
- If you cancel 14 or more days before the course starts, you receive a full refund.
- If you cancel less than 14 days before, there is no refund, but you may transfer to a future date of the same course or receive a credit toward another course.
- If you do not attend without notice, the fee is not refundable.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule a course, you choose between a full refund and a place on the new date.
Course materials are for your own personal and professional learning and may not be copied, shared or resold. A certificate of completion confirms that you attended the course. It is not a professional licence or registration. Please practise within the scope of your own profession and the rules of your regulatory body.
Clinic appointments
Appointments are booked through Jane. Fees for each service are listed on our Service Investment page, plus HST where it applies. We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, and missed appointments, are charged the full fee for that appointment.
Our content
The text, images, logos, videos and course materials on this website belong to Homeopathic Family Practice or are used with permission. Please do not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Homeopathic Family Practice is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website or our products. Our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this website when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
