A drop of blood is taken painlessly from the finger and placed on a slide for viewing under special microscope. The blood is still very much alive at this point because it was just extracted. You can watch your live blood while it is being evaluated because the microscope is connected to a screen.

The technician will go over all of the details with you and point out any potential red flags.

WHAT WE CAN LEARN?

If you get an LVM blood test, you can find out if you have:

• mineral imbalances (such as low levels of iron or e.g. vitamin B12).
